On a clear day, ocean views can be seen from the main living room, kitchen and dining room and 2 of the bedrooms. Depending on the season the property has apple bananas, kona coffee, hawaiian chili peppers, oranges and guava as well as several native flowers including hibiscus, gardenia and hydrangeas. There are donkeys on a nearby property that will come to the fence to say aloha, as well as wild turkeys, wild parrots, cardinals, and 'io (hawaiian hawks) fly above. The property borders a forest preserve on one side.
