This house is everything and more. Tracy has thought of everything you could possibly need. We way over packed because if we needed something it was there. It is the perfect spot. You're probably not going to walk to the beach even if you stay at a house on the beach, the walk is still long and if you pack a cooler, lawn chairs, Kites and umbrellas you will want the truck to haul it all. We loved that we all felt safe and we were even able to leave our things at the pool with no worries. The horses are amazing and will be in the yard several times, even come right out the brush and scare you when taking the dogs out, they are not fazed by the dogs or humans. Do not hesitate to rent this house it is perfect. Everything we used worked with no issues. The pool is not heated but it was warmer than the ocean, we had a few pool volleyball games and a badminton game and were able to float around. we had 13 adults all family members and no complaints from anyone. I hope you rent and enjoy your stay!

We drove from Mass to stay at this beach house for a week. Upon arrival, we were absolutely impressed. The home had every amenity that you could think of! We LOVED seeinf the wild horses every day in our driveway and yard. We also were able to have our 2 furbabies vacation with us, a Golden Retriever snd a Choc Newfie. They LOVED the beach and seeing the horses. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend to everyone!

We had such a good time at Crystal Cove! We saw horses, we spent so much time on the beach, we all ate dinner together and played board games, and hot tubbed, and jumped in the pool and watched a movie like we were in a movie theater. My family all agreed, we would definitely go back! The house was very comfortable and had amazing views!

The house is amazingly clean, and had so much room for everyone alone or all 8 of us together! The location was perfect for what we wanted. The owner was quick to respond, provided clear instructions and was very friendly! Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!

Our family had an awesome time visiting OBX for the first time! We were traveling with 6 adults and 8 kids. The size and layout of the house was perfect for our group. We were able to hang out as in the common areas but get away from each other and have our own space when we wanted it. The pool was a little chilly thanks to some cold days but we still couldn’t keep the kids out of it. Having the wild horses grazing right off the deck was a huge highlight. We had a slight issue with a toilet and a question about the TVs and Tracy got back to us immediately and had everything taken care of quickly. Wonderful hosts, beautiful location. Would definitely stay again.

The house and area was awesome. The most relaxing vacation we have every had. Having the 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers was wonderful for the amount of people we had. Everyone in our party would definitely go back again.

My family stayed here the last week of March. We had almost all ages represented, from 10 to 72. The house was set up perfectly for our family, and we loved that we could have our own corner of the house, with our own showers, and privacy when we needed it. We spent most of our time at the beach fishing and playing, as well as searching for the wild horses, which led to some lifelong memories. I can't think of any other place in the country where you can lounge on the deck watching wild horses with an ocean backdrop. The kids, both young and old, swam and lounged in the hot tub every day. Every night we played board games, and those who wanted to hung out in the cinema room for the nightly movie. Bring an air popper for popcorn, it makes the experience even better. Check-in / check-out was easy, and Tracy was great. He offered very helpful information to make our stay pleasant, and we felt we had all the privacy we wanted. If planning to go, I cannot understate the importance of a 4x4 vehicle. Driving six miles on the beach is a unique experience. You will enjoy it with 4x4, you will feel stressed without it. For us, the plan was to bring three generations together for quality time. This house was the vacation, and it did not disappoint.

This property was amazing. There were 3 families that came together for this vacation and we all had space to hang out within our own smaller units or all come together. The rooms were nice and spacious and if there was a single selling feature for this house it would be the bathrooms alone. Every room has its own private bathroom attached. AMAZING. The drive on the beach was SO FUN. The kids absolutely loved the adventure of it alone. Just a note- you absolutely need four wheel drive. We used it regularly. We had kids ranging from 2 years old to 14 years old and they all had an absolute blast. Tracey (and family) had supplied the house with all sorts of toys and entertainment for all ages. They were also great at all communication, including some local sights and experiences we really enjoyed! Our entire experience was amazing and we can not wait to go back. A couple of useful points that we discussed once we had actually experienced it all: 1) At first I was discouraged that the house wasn't on the beach. However, it ended up being perfect because we didn't have to worry about the kids running out the door and being in the middle of the traffic on the beach. If I was booking again immediately it would be a criterial for us NOT to be the house directly on the beach. 2) the beach drive is approx 8 miles, however depending on the tide it could take 45 minutes to get there. Get all supplies on your way in. Especially if you're getting in later in the day. Luckily for us we all were coming in staggered times so we just called and asked someone else to grab it. 3) I assume this is the policy for the cleaning services of the house - and its just a quirk that would've been good to know- but there are no trash bags, toilet paper, soap (for dish washer or laundry) on the premise. We were thinking there might be enough for a single night so you could run back into town but there wasn't. No issue for us, but good to know if you're all coming in at the same time as there is no "quick trip" back into town. But with the beach drive being so fun, you might purposely forget something anyways! ;) 3) the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils. Which is amazing if you're staying in and cooking! We even made homemade donuts with the kids and it was such a precious memory. There is not a single negative thing about the vacation. It was all so much fun and such a blessing to have an amazing space to get to experience it in. So don't hesitate, book the house!

Corolla, NC 27927
This rental agreement is made between Tami and Tracy Halker, as owners and __(Electronic agreement or:)_______________________________ as renter(s).
The term of this lease shall be from Saturday, (date on invoice) to Saturday, (date on invoice 7 days after check-in date). The property will be ready for occupancy at 4:00 PM on the beginning date of the lease and must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the ending date of the lease.
The premise is located at: 2060 Sandfiddler Road, Corolla, NC 27927.
You MUST have a four wheel drive vehicle to reach the property.
Accommodations: Four master king bedrooms with private bath and ocean views, two master queen bedrooms with private bath and ocean views, and two master duo bunks bedrooms with private bath. The maximum occupancy of the dwelling is twenty (20) persons. Water, heat/AC, washer/dryer, sheets, and bath towels are provided, unless noted by owner.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds given. However, the owner will immediately place the week back into advertisement upon written notice from the renter(s) and refund the renter(s) the balance paid minus a $300 cancellation fee IF the week is rented by another party at the same price.
Renter(s) agree to report promptly to owner any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or other problems with the premises. Guests permit owner access to property for purpose of repair and inspection.
Owners of said premises are not responsible for injury to renters, their family or guests, or to damage to their personal property incurred during their stay. Renters, their family and guests bear the risk of any injury.
All of the enclosed rules and regulations for occupancy will be considered as terms of this lease, including pet rules.
Prior to your arrival, and after final payment is received, you will receive instructions on how to enter the house.
The rental rate will be as invoiced as either 50% due at booking and 50% due 60 days prior to check-in or as agreed upon at signing.
The agreed upon deposit will be refunded within 30 days of the checkout date provided no deductions for damage to property or furnishings, any excessive cleaning, or any other cost incurred by homeowner due to guest’s stay.There is no deposit if damage insurance has been purchased.

Rules and Regulations for Occupancy

Absolutely NO SMOKING, pets must be approved by owner ahead of time, flea and tick prevention must be used on any allowed pet, nails must be trimmed to protect wood floor, NO grilling on decks, NO FIREWORKS, and NO HOUSE PARTIES allowed.
Our maximum occupancy is 20 persons.
Parking is limited to 6 cars. No trailers, motor homes, or buses allowed on site.
If balcony doors are to be left open, make sure the curtains are drawn past open area because ocean breeze might cause damage to curtains.
Never turn the A/C below 72 degrees as the unit may freeze. The unit will also turn off if a door or window is left open. Turning it down super low will NOT make it cool faster.
Please limit sand entering the house by using shower under stairs to rinse shoes, feet, or shells collected. Please also leave beach chairs, bicycles, strollers, kayaks, etc. outside of the house. Please bring your own way to secure these items (i.e. bike lock, etc.)
The fireplace is a non-vented propane gas log fired firebox. Please do not throw paper or other combustible material in the fireplace. Fireplace is available in the fall and winter season. Ask owner about availability.
If you are in a group renting multiple houses, please do not take any items from one house to another (i.e. glasses, plates, flatware, etc.).
No one shall swim or use hot tub alone. No lifeguard is on duty, No diving. Keep gate closed at all time to protect renters, especially small children and pets, No pets on pool deck or in pool. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. On certain occasions our pool cleaners drain, sanitize, refill, and replenish chemicals, therefore it may not be warm until later that evening. Do NOT stand on the hot tub or pool cover. They may break and you will be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.
Do not disconnect or remove any cables for electronics. There will be a minimum $250 fee + $50 per hour charge to move back or reconnect any electronics.
The property is on a well and septic systems. During times of extreme drought, the water has a possibility of having an odor. Some of our guests may prefer to bring bottled/gallon water to drink. The septic system is highly effective; however it will clog up if improper material is flushed. NO GARBAGE DISPOSER-Do not put food down the drain! Please throw out all food in the trash. DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING BUT TOILET PAPER. NO FEMININE PRODUCTS should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system you will lose your deposit and be charged for the excess. Also, nothing ruins a vacation faster than a backed up septic system.
Please limit noise after 10 p.m. for neighbors and per law.
No refunds will be given for storms. Please consider travel insurance or use a credit card that may have that feature if concerned about this.

Pet Addendum

It is hereby agreed by and between owners and guests that homeowner will allow guests to have up to two dogs and no others in the vacation home upon and subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and addendum. No Cats allowed. This must be prearranged with owner 90 days prior to arrival or eviction may occur.

Guests hereby agree to comply with the following:
Guest to pay an additional $100 cleaning fee per week ONLY IF house not swept before checkout. This saves us from charging an extra pet cleaning fee.
All pets may not exceed 75 pounds.
All pets must be at least 2 years of age or older.
All pets must be up-to-date on rabies and all other vaccinations. Heartworm prevention is highly recommended. (Documentation from an accredited veterinarian must be provided by guest upon request)
All pets must be leashed at all times.
Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse.
Pets are not allowed on furniture OR beds at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture or beds may incur extra cleaning fees/ loss of deposit.
All pets ARE to be treated with a topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are present in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets.
Pets must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage may be deducted from any security deposit.
Guests must prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors.
Pets should not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or out. Pets must not be left unattended on balcony, patio, or porch.
Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on premises,
The guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.
